I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge welcome to all pupils and families who attend Turnditch CE Primary School. We are a wonderful rural school with a real sense of family.

Your children will be given the very best start in life to both their academic and emotional journey. We strive to reach the very highest standards in maths, science and literacy whilst providing an outstanding, exciting and varied curriculum in all of our foundation subjects. The school is a very happy place with a strong team ethic which includes strong support from governors and the community. Everyone in the school aims to do their best for your child and your involvement plays an important part.

We take enormous pride in the activities that we can offer beyond the curriculum including afterschool activities. These activities include a gardening club, Soccer Stars club, handball club, Christian craft afterschool activities, fencing, archery and cross country running, to name but a few. These change on a termly basis and present children with a wealth of opportunities and experiences beyond those of the normal school day.

As a staff we are fully appreciative that your child’s learning is carried out in partnership with you as a parent. We welcome all home support and have many opportunities for you to share in your child’s academic and emotional journey.

This truly is a jewel of a school to work in and as you cross our threshold you will instantly experience the family atmosphere of care, love and understanding. Your children are our highest priority and as a church school we will always endeavour to make sure that they feel safe, feel challenged, achieve the highest of academic standards and are well looked after.

As a staff we feel privileged to hold the responsibility as educators of your children and it is because of this they will excel here at Turnditch CE Primary School.
