A huge thank you to all who organised and supported the Turnditch Christmas Fayre at Shottle Hall on the evening of Thursday 7th November. Even with the rain pouring down outside, the event was extremely well attended (a record attendance). Many Christmas stalls were in situ in the hall and many of you bought gifts and decorations for family and friends. You raised for school funds over £1400 which this year we are going to use on replacing reading scheme books in the library. I cannot tell you how grateful we are as a school and how valuable your fundraising is to us. Again many thanks for all of your efforts, you really do make a difference.

Best Wishes Mr Bolton

We currently have a vacancy for one parent governor and are seeking nominations for an enthusiastic and committed parent or carer to join the governing body here at Turnditch CE Primary School. If you are interested in this vacancy please contact Mrs Worrall in the school office.

Our school is the centre of the community. We serve our community and in return the local and wider community are extremely supportive of the school.

Smiles are in abundance here at Turnditch -we are a happy school where children, staff, parents and governors work closely together to ensure that the school goes from strength to strength.

We provide a broad and balanced curriculum both in the classroom and outside. We take great pride in the well rounded children who leave us at the end of their primary school life, knowing that they are well prepared for the challenges of secondary school and indeed life.

Welcome from the Headteacher

If you have concerns about the safety or well-being of ANY child, you can contact the school or visit the Derbyshire Safeguarding Website for more information about what to do.
